Prevent Scurvy

If you’re looking for vitamin C, oranges are a good bet, with up to 70 milligrams per serving. But tropical guavas are better, each with 165 milligrams of the scurvy-preventing nutrient.

As a New Zealander, had to point out that our Yellow Kiwi Fruit are the way to go for vitamin C. According to the this natural food hub web page, they have between 120 - 180 mg of Vitamin C. Sadly the fruit loses Vitamin C on storage so you should probably come over to NZ and get them super fresh :)
