From 47 to 42

The $2 Federal Reserve Note has, on the back, an engraving of “The Signing of the Declaration of Independence.” The original painting featured 47 people. But limited space on the back of the note meant that five of those men didn’t fit, so only 42 of them appear on the bill’s reverse.
